Dr. Rorke, the founder of our clinic, began working as a veterinarian in the Peterborough area in 1996 after a year or so in Manhattan, where she practiced in a small animal hospital on the Upper West Side. She is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She thoroughly enjoys the clients and patients she meets in our clinic and through our mobile service, which offers veterinary care to patients in their homes locally and sometimes an hour and more away from our base hospital. She shares her home with Buddy, a young orange cat adopted from the Peterborough Humane Society, who’s true to his name, and a 4 year old border collie, Tucker Too, also from the PHS. They are trying very hard to fill the void left after the passing of Mel (18), Oliver (11) and Tucker (14) within the last year or so. It’s a lively home now, as Buddy and Tucker still do not share the same concept of harmony in the home.
