On Monday, April 4th, 2022, Otonabee Animal Hospital will be carefully transitioning from Curbside Service Only to allowing our clients to accompany their pets back into the hospital.

Here’s what you need to know:

Please call when you arrive (705-743-4936). Your appointment will be done in part over the phone from your vehicle. This will allow a technician/assistant to obtain medical history/appointment information from you while limiting the amount of time needed in the exam room.

Once the phone call portion of your visit is complete the technician/assistant will instruct you (1 person with the exception of end-of-life services) to meet her at the door with your pet and you will be escorted to your sanitized exam room and shown where you can observe the appointment while the staff does the work. This will allow us to limit close contact as much as possible.

When your appointment is complete you will be escorted to Reception, and back out to your vehicle.

A PROPERLY FITTED, PREFERABLY MEDICAL GRADE MASK IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR BOTH STAFF AND CLIENTS. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you. If you prefer to have your appointment remain curbside only, just let us know when you arrive and we will accommodate your request. Should you decide not to wear a mask for any reason, we retain the option to offer curbside service as before.

All food and medication orders will remain curbside only at this time. Call when you arrive and a staff member will be happy to assist you.

Please reschedule your appointment if you are not well or should be isolating due to COVID 19 exposure.

Our goal is to continue to provide quality service while ensuring the continued health of our clients and our team.

We appreciate your kindness and patience as we make this transition.

Welcome back!
